Toddler Proven “Power of Positive Talk” Experiment #1 Inspired by Dr. Masaru Emoto Water molecule Experiment on Rice…

I have been struggling with my son using words as a way to hurt peoples feelings. I did not know what to do about his recent habit, all I knew is that it made me sad. I do not want my child to think it is good to use words as a weapon! I had tried several ways to talk to him about his new form of communication but nothing seemed to get through to him. Then I remembered the experiment by Dr. Masaru Emoto so I decided to give it a try with my 3 year old.

Each day we would wake up and as soon as we went downstairs for breakfast or snack we would speak to the jars we had labeled with either “I HATE You” or “I Love You”. But we would only speak nice, kind, loving and enduring words to the jar labeled “Love”. And we would yell at, tell nasty things to and say ugly words to the jar labeled “Hate”. Dr. Masaru Emoto had 3 jars & he ignored the 3 jars but I thought this concept would not be understood by a 3 year old, so we decided to skip the 3rd jar.

As the days progressed we started to notice that the jar labeled with “I HATE You” was pretty dirty and cloudy in color. But the “I Love You” jar was barely effected at all. My son pointed this observation out as often as he could, constantly asking, “Mommy why is the “I hate You” jar so yuki? I would explain to him how our words can effect even the smallest of things like a few grains of rice… and rice isn’t even alive so that should tell you something.

Notice all the “sludge” on the I Hate you jar?

After a couple weeks of this routine the “I Love You” jar was finally starting to get cloudy and milky, so it was time to end the experiment. Here is a video of the final talk my son & I had about the Power of Positive Talk.

The final result of this experiment is profound and the interesting thing about the outcome is my now 4 year old son does not use words to hurt people very often at all. Children pick things up so easily. We adults take children for granted, underestimate them and sometimes believe that they cannot comprehend the world for what it is. But this experiment proves (at least to me) that children can learn to correct their behavior, they are Compassionate beings and when they realize that their actions hurt another being they STOP that behavior. Children are not the little “sociopaths” we can sometimes believe them to be… I challenge you speak to children like they are “real people” that they understand cognitive thought and if you have a little one (or big ones) I challenge you to do this experiment with them and see how they react…

Naturally Harvested Medicine to fight infections… Found Locally!

Natural Medicine harvested locally! What seriously I DO NOT have to use Pharmaceutical Antibiotics!?!

I am not sure about you but I have never been a fan of antibiotics, in fact it seems as though they hardly ever work for me or for my son who is now 4 years old. He was diagnosed with an allergy to the “cillian” family when he was not even a year old. Penicillin is part of a family of antibiotics known as beta lactams & is used to treat many bacterial infections in your body such as ear infections. Time after time the doctor had put my son on antibiotics for one infection or another & time after time the infection just would not go away. When he was one in a half he got an ear infection four times in a row & the doctor insisted on putting him on antibiotics for about a month straight, and I let them (sad face). During the last round my son ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, because the antibiotics had killed his system. Pneumonia can be fatal for small children and I became very concerned… so at that point in time I made the Conscious decision that I would find an alternative remedy for my sweet child! This was when I had discovered GSE grapefruit seed extract.

I have not harvested GSE locally but I have been using it for quote sometime & have learned that it works so well that my family & I do not have to use Pharmaceutical Antibiotics. At every chance I get I recommend GSE to anyone & everyone! I have learned that you get much better results with GSE in a glass bottle than in the white bottle that only contains about 30% GSE, but it seems as though this kind of GSE is getting harder & harder to find. However I am able to find it if I surf the web long enough & sometimes I can find it at Sprouts grocery store. Anyways I have been using GSE in replace of antibiotics for almost 3 years now & I have never had a bad experience with it. And the overall health of my son & I have been GREAT!

This past weekend I was up at Oak Flats (beautiful land that has been used for ceremonial purposes for years & years that has been sold to an Australian mining company to mine copper) harvesting medicinal herbs.

While I was boulder hoping I managed to get stabbed or impaled by an agave plant, a member of the Yucca family. The spike broke off below my skin, I had to go to the ER, get in lanced & after about 30 minutes of digging the spike was removed. This type of wound has been known to acquire staph infections. The doctors tried to push antibiotics & a tetanus shot, however I declined & decided to go with natural cures.

  1. Local Black Willow bark & GSE (GSE not locally harvested) made into a tea, drunken as needed throughout day for pain & to fight infection (at least 2-3 times a day up to hourly if needed).
  2. Locally harvested Nicotine leaves made into a tea & applied to would for pain.
  3. Locally harvested Creosote or Chaparral leaves made into a poultice & applied to infected area to fight bacterial infections.

That’s it! It may be a little more time consuming than popping a pill but if you are as dedicated to natural cures as I am then you will appreciate the time spent to prepare the naturally harvested herbs that can heal you. Pharmaceutical Antibiotics kill your system, working against your body eventually making you resistant to the medications (as proven in my sons case!) so we choose to find something that actually works, that is natural & that can save our immune systems from attacking itself! Not to mention it gives me & my son a fun activity out in nature for the day… My son loves going out into nature to harvest medicinal herbs & so do I! So next time if you are in need of antibiotics maybe you will remember this article & these alternative remedies that can & will assist you on your journey… And hey if these do not work for you then please feel free to cash in that pharmaceutical prescription that was prescribed by the doctor… But why not try something that works, does not hurt your body & can possibly be found in your backyard!

Until Next time… Peace be with You…

A new appreciation for the Desert…

Value for all… Hidden in the Desert…

montezumas well.1

On Friday on my way up to Sedona to help a Andrew Ecker with Drumming Sounds facilitate a drum circle for The Sedona Yoga Festival I stopped at Montezuma’s Well for a brisk walk, a sip of ancient waters & the beautiful view… I was intrigued by all the knowledge in the signs of the native plants in the area. I have a lot of appreciation for how our Native relatives utilized all every tree, flower, shrub & plant in some form or fashion. Here I took a few pictures of the plants & signs that were displayed…

Then after my hike at the Well what I find most interesting is that when in Sedona a dear friend & I went for a hike at the Stupa we ran into the beautiful minded Illup the Master behind Kejiwa Creations (the best Kombucha I have ever had in my entire life!) & were invited to join a on one of the most exciting moments of my life…a plant identification walk in the red rocks… If I were reading the signs correctly I’d say the Universe was blatantly showing me that it has something in store for me in regards to plant identification… now it’s my turn to take the reins and figure out just what the Universe is trying to show me..

Never in my life, in the 22 years that I have resided in Arizona have I ever had such an appreciation for the Sonoran desert… as I walked on this 2 hour hike with a group of Yogis, I felt like a kid in a candy store… I learned so much about the every day plants we usually take for granted… As I left the tour and drove back down to the Valley of the Sun I was on a complete high, ecstatic & enthusiastic about what the desert holds in its greatness. Now every where I look hidden in cactus, dried up shrubs and intoxicating aromas cures, tinctures, food and tools are hidden every where…

So now I admit to the world & to myself that finally after 22 years I can honestly & whole heartedly admit that I have a Great appreciation, a new love & an open mind to what this land offers to the people who reside in it… What have you allowed yourself to appreciate hidden in your local area lately? Have you been able to find beauty, mysticism or peace within your surroundings? If not why & I ask you to open yourself up to what Mother Nature has to show you because hidden beneath every tree, every flower and every rock a magical world awaits you… Now put a smile on your face & embrace all that surrounds you with loving open arms… The Universe is amazing in all that it has in store for us…

Until next time… Peace be with you…
